I have been looking forward to shooting this Holthus Convention Center wedding ever since I did Sydney and Elliott’s engagement photoshoot. (By the way, if you didn’t catch those pics, you can find them right here!)
I loved spending time with this couple the first time around–they’re so easy to work with, and so in love! And the wedding day was even better! It was such a treat to get to know their families. Both the bride and groom come from big families, and they had so much fun together that it felt like one big reunion! Sydney’s little sisters were so cute and we all had lots of laughs–which is how a wedding should be!
The first look photos before the ceremony were beautiful! As well as a first look with the bride and groom, Sydney wanted to do a father daughter first look session. It was full of tender feelings and yes, there may have been a few tears. Such a sweet moment.
Sydney and Elliott went with a fall-themed wedding with tons of pumpkins–which I loved! Such pretty colors (and so perfect with Sydney’s gorgeous hair!)
Also, the decision to make it a Holthus Convention Center wedding was inspired. I mean, where else can you drive a party bus right into the convention center so the DJ can announce the wedding party as they step off the bus and straight into the wedding venue? What a fun touch!
Sydney and Elliott, thank you so much for making me a part of your journey together! It’s been an honor to capture those first steps from engagement to wedding day, and I wish you all the best in your new life together! The two of you are amazing individuals, and as a couple you are meant to be!
